Venetic. Second Tale

A festival to be remembered!

From the 2nd to the 4th of September, the village of Gherdeal, Sibiu County, hosted Venetic. Second Tale, bringing together once again those who cherish music, art, film, and nature.

For three days, guests enjoyed the atmosphere of a Transylvanian village close to the forest, with live music, exhibitions, film screenings, creative workshops, scenic walks, and delicious tastings. Venetic became a space for exploration and connection — a place where everyone had something to experience and share.

The 2022 program featured:

  • Multimedia performance Alexander Arpeggio (DE) feat. Maria Balabaș
  • Cinematic portrait Paul Mureșan
  • Dance music with Bogman
  • Bronze sculpture exhibition (Cristian Crestincov) and photography exhibition (Cristina Bobe)
  • Children’s workshops: music composition (Maria Balabaș) and shadow theatre (Beatrice Iordan)

Sunday, September 4th:

Over these three days, guests camped under the stars, enjoyed local food and drinks, and discovered artists and cultural projects rooted in a natural and sustainable environment.

Venetic. Second Tale was supported by Baden Württemberg Stiftung, Perspektive Donau, KulturTandem, SimTech, Asociația Culturală Isvor, Băcănia Albota, Cramele Jidvei, Studioset Production, Kitchen Tailors, Diseno and Mega Image.

Venetic continues to grow as a festival for modern families who value sustainability, creativity, and time spent together in nature — a story that will keep unfolding at future editions.
