Venetic 4. In Flow

August 22–24, 2025 | Gherdeal, Sibiu County

The summer of 2025 brought a new gathering in Gherdeal, Bruiu commune, Sibiu County – a hidden village with echoes of the past and dreams of the present. The fourth edition of Venetic, titled In Flow, was a celebration of music, play, and connection, unfolding among tents, soft lights, and great sound.

The festival carried on its tradition of blending art, nature, and community into a living, breathing experience. For three days, guests enjoyed creative workshops, live concerts, film screenings, and walks through the countryside — living the unique Venetic spirit: live, local & alive.

The 2025 program included:

Friday, August 22 (17:00–00:00):

  • Nature-inspired drawing workshop with Alina Aldea, award-winning artist and teacher at Tonitza Fine Arts High School
  • Musical improvisation workshop for children with Maria Balabaș
  • DJ Lejer
  • Film screening
  • Buuniku
  • Live concert

Saturday, August 23 (16:00–00:00):

Earlier that day, starting at 11:00 AM, participants joined a guided tour through Gherdeal, ending with a walk to the ancient oak tree – the silent witness of centuries.

Sunday, August 24 (11:00–17:00):

  • Musical improvisation workshop for children with Maria Balabaș
  • Historical documentary screening – Part II
  • Music listening session with a surprise guest

The weekend’s film screenings were part of the National Historical Education Tour dedicated to Queen Marie, produced by John Florescu (Executive Producer) and Dan Drăghicescu (Associate Producer).

Venetic 4. In Flow blended creative energy with Transylvanian calm — a space where art met nature and time seemed to flow differently. With dust on their boots and rhythm in their steps, guests left Gherdeal carrying a bit of summer light and the promise of return.
