Find the “Dreamers” hidden in the depths of your soul!
I couldn’t find a better title for the review of RONE’s exhibition. Recently, I took part in an exercise of introspection and self-discovery, unfolding under the lens of the painted images of visual artist RONE, in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of Gallery IX.
After a whole week dominated by the “F5” syndrome and the rush between deadlines, I felt it was time for a breath of fresh air. I attended the opening of the exhibition “Dreamers”, by RONE, well-known in the artistic circles of France and Germany.

It was a welcome moment of respite, facilitated by the RAWW Art Association. From the speed and constant agitation of the streets, I suddenly entered a calm space, seemingly designed for therapeutic exercises of introspection and self-discovery for the modern individual. Alongside me, many other art lovers crossed the gallery’s threshold for a well-deserved contemplation of the self and a connection to the essence of things.
Together, we stepped into a crescendo guided by the “Dreamers” and the inspiring performances of the duo 2B Music (Gabriel Balasa & Maxim Belciug), embarking on a journey of visual stimuli in which we explored the different facets of loss, rediscovery of self-identity, and the meaning each of us gives to our lives.

It is a cultural and spiritual experience not to be missed! Why? Because, in RONE’s vision, the dreamer represents a part of each of our selves. It is that intimate part which, in the allegory of perpetual change, is actually seeking its own face. The dreamer reveals its form through a head and a hand. The head takes the shape of an egg, an alchemical and cosmic symbol of original creation, while the hand is also a symbol of creation, this time human, defining for our species. In this way, my creation, your creation, becomes the point around which the theme of the dreamers revolves.
Slowly, guided by each dreamer, we embarked on an alchemical journey into the mysteries of the human depth. The path, like any procession of this kind, also included a magical moment, when one of the attendees received a work by the artist as a gift. Yet, it was not the artwork itself that impressed the audience, but the surprising way in which the four-year-old girl chosen to make the draw designated the winner… her own mother, perhaps a symbolic moment revealing the deep, unseen connection that exists between us, the dreamers.

It is said that from within each of us, a Dreamer smiles at the universe. If you want to experience this communion for yourself, you have time until November 9, 2014, at Gallery IX—Wednesday to Friday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

The closing event of the exhibition took place on November 6, 2014, a few days before the official end, and featured special guests Vloop (responsible for visuals) and DJ Vasile (in charge of music). RONE’s Dreamers came to life in a completely unexpected way. The images speak for themselves.
